What does VEGAN mean?

To achieve a clear wine, any turbid material of the wine has to be removed. This is traditionally done by using animal proteins. For our vegan wines, we use proteins from peas instead.
Either way, the proteins bind the wine turbid material and are later no longer in the wine.
Fun fact: We also use proteins peas in many other wines; it is just not mentioned on the label.
