WINE-GROWING WITH THE WOLF
With over 1200 years of wine-growing history, Wolfenweiler is one of the most historic wine-growing communities in the Markgräflerland. Today around 380 hectares of vineyards are cultivated so that our variety of vines can develop extensively.

These extend south of Freiburg along the foothills of the southern Black Forest in the direction of Basel - the "Markgräflerland". Here the vines find optimal conditions: warm summers with lots of sun and sufficient rainfall, plus calcareous loess-loam-marl soils that guarantee a good supply of nutrients.
Kellergeheimnisse
Nachdem unsere Trauben geerntet wurden, liegen diese zur weiteren Verarbeitung in unserem Weinkeller. Um ein durchweg erstklassiges Weinerlebnis zu gewährleisten, sorgt unser erster Kellermeister Michael Nußbaumer dafür, dass in den Weinfässern konsequent höchste Qualität Standards umgesetzt werden.
