These fine selection wines from the Burgundy family come from low-yield cultivation in the individual vineyards of Batzenberg and Dürrenberg. In this way, all the power of the vine is concentrated and an excellent grape quality is achieved. These precious grapes are then aged in 100% new barrique and tonneau barrels.

Barrique, what is it exactly?
A barrique barrel is exactly 225 liters and must be made of oak. The oak trees grow mainly in France, the USA or in the Pfalz region (Germany). Due to the maturation in the barrique barrel, the wine receives the maximum amount of oxygen. Over time, this oxygen causes the wine to become pleasantly soft in the palate
